On October 5, 2022, Mountain Mac Solutions was officially named Mobile Phone Shop of the Year – British Columbia by Corporate LiveWire as part of their Innovation & Excellence Awards.
I got the email earlier that week, and I’ll be honest—when I first heard the words, I had to reread the email twice. It was completely unexpected. I didn’t apply or campaign for anything. Someone out there, maybe a client, maybe a colleague nominated me. Then Corporate LiveWire’s panel, after reviewing thousands of nominees across Canada, chose Mountain Mac Solutions as the top mobile tech support service in BC.
I’m floored. And I’m thankful.
What This Award Means
Mountain Mac Solutions has always been a one-person operation with a community-first approach. I don’t have a storefront. I don’t have a team. What I do have is a deep love for helping people make sense of the tech in their lives—especially phones, tablets, smart devices, and all the gear that keeps us connected.
Winning this award in 2022, right in the middle of rebuilding after the pandemic’s peak, meant a lot. It was a powerful reminder that personal service, trust, and honesty still matter in tech, maybe more than ever.
