Mountain Mac Solutions provides friendly, practical tech support for seniors, home users, home-based professionals, and select business clients in Nelson and within approximately a 60 km radius of Nelson, with remote support available across Canada.

Rates vary depending on the type of client and the type of support needed. Clear pricing will always be discussed before work begins, so you know what to expect.

60-minute minimum per service engagement for in-person support.
30-minute minimum per service engagement for remote support.

Time is rounded up in 15-minute increments.

Onsite time starts on arrival.

Remote support time is billed from connection to disconnection.

Travel fees are based on distance from Nelson, B.C.

Some services are handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the type of work involved. This may include specialty troubleshooting, hardware-related work, internal cleaning, or situations that require more detailed assessment.

A free consultation and estimate will be provided before any approved specialty work begins.

Once approved, this work may be billed at the appropriate service rate or, where suitable, at a flat rate.

Any hardware costs will be clearly outlined in advance.

Payment Information

Payment is due at the end of service.

5% GST applies to all services.

7% PST applies to applicable repair or hardware-related services in British Columbia.

Accepted payment methods: Interac e-Transfer or in some cases cheque.
